Lovers of animals and of life itself work together to promote animal welfare, make vegan and vegetarian diets as American as apple pie, and encode animal rights into animal law (as Chicago did with the ban on foie gras). The goal is for animals to be recognized as living beings that have inalienable rights to live a natural life free of harm by the hands of humans. A step towards that goal is to stem the tide of suffering by educating the public.
Please join us in welcoming Jack Norris, President of Vegan Outreach to Chicago for a presentation on the past, present and future of the vegan movement.
Delicious vegan refreshments will be provided!
